The collection centre, in your pocket.
The MilkTrust app puts milk entry, payments, advances and every farmer's own statement on an Android phone. It keeps working when the signal drops, and it shows the same books as the PC at the counter.
Coming soon onGoogle Playphone's camera
to get the app
Until then, open app.milktrust.com on any phone or PC. It is the same app.
- Android 7.0 and newer
- Works without internet
- Sign in with a code on WhatsApp
Everything at the counter, a tap away
The app has the same screens as the PC at the centre, laid out for one hand and a small screen. All the samples below are made up. Farmer records, cans, sales and the daily summary are on the features page.
Take milk at the counter, even with no signal
Type the card number, the litres and the fat reading, then save. The price comes from the centre's rate chart, so nobody works it out by hand.
- The farmer's last four days show under the boxes, so an odd reading stands out while the farmer is still there.
- Keeps going offline. Entries wait on the phone and go up when the signal is back, each one counted only once.
- Morning and evening sit in their own columns and never get mixed up.
Payday from the phone, printed or shared
Every ten days, each farmer's milk money and advances come together on one sheet with the amount to pay.
- Step through periods with the arrows: this period, the last one, any one before.
- The A4 register and a slip for each farmer are made as PDFs. Share them from the phone to a printer, to WhatsApp, or anywhere else the phone can send a file.
- Advances come off automatically. If they are more than the milk money, the sheet shows what the farmer still owes.
Give an advance in a few seconds
Card number, amount, and a purpose if you want one. It is taken off that farmer's payment for the period it is given in.
- The period's total and how many advances were given, at the top.
- A mistake is cancelled with a reason, never quietly deleted, and stays on the record.
- The farmer sees it too, on their own phone, as “advance taken back”.
One app. Each person sees their own part.
The owner gives each person a login with their mobile number. When they sign in, the app shows only the screens their role allows.
Built for patchy signal, cheap phones and real money
Opens with no internet
The screens are inside the app, so it opens and takes milk even on the first morning with no signal.
Sent once, never twice
Entries saved offline go up when the signal returns. If one is sent twice, it is still saved only once.
No password to forget
Sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code on WhatsApp. Then a PIN or your fingerprint opens the app. Lost a SIM? The owner puts the new number in.
The farmer knows the same morning
When milk is saved against their card, the farmer's Android phone shows the litres, fat and amount. A correction, a removed entry or an advance comes the same way, in their own language.
One number, every card
A farmer with two cards, or cards at two centres, signs in once. Their cards are listed under each centre, and one tap switches between them.
PDFs from the phone
Payment registers and farmer slips are made on the phone and shared from its share menu.
English, తెలుగు, हिन्दी
Each person picks their own language. The farmer can read their statement in Telugu while the counter works in English.
Your login, your choice
Anyone can delete their own login from inside the app. How deletion works.
About the app
Which phones does it run on?
Android phones on Android 7.0 or newer.
Is there an iPhone app?
It is with Apple for review and will be in the App Store soon. Until then, open app.milktrust.com in Safari on the iPhone and use Add to Home Screen. It shows the same books.
Do I need internet to take milk?
No. Milk entry works without a signal. Entries wait on the phone and are sent when the network comes back. Sign-in needs a connection the first time.
How do I sign in?
With the mobile number the centre owner has put on your login. A one-time code comes on WhatsApp to that number. There is no password. After that, a PIN or your fingerprint opens the app.
Can farmers use the app?
Yes, and it is free for them. The owner makes them a login, and the farmer sees only their own milk, payments and advances. They never see another farmer's milk or the centre's rate chart.
Will the farmer know when their milk is recorded?
Yes, on Android. The first time the farmer opens the app, it asks to send notifications. After that, each entry saved against their card for today or yesterday shows on the phone with the litres, fat and amount. Corrections, removed entries and advances are sent too. Notifications on iPhone will follow the iPhone app.
A farmer has more than one card. Do they need two logins?
No. If the same mobile number is on more than one card, at one centre or several, the app finds them all. The farmer sees their cards grouped by centre under Your cards and switches with one tap.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Telugu and Hindi. Each person picks their own in Settings, so the operator and a farmer can use different languages on the same centre's books.
Is the app different from the website?
No. They show the same records. The app keeps its screens on the phone so it opens without a signal, and it makes PDFs you can share from the phone.
I'm changing phones. What happens to my entries?
Let the old phone send what is waiting first (it says so at the top of Milk entry). Then sign in on the new phone. Everything sent is already on the server.
How do I get help?
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 76708 07234 or email support@milktrust.com. We reply within one working day.
How do I delete my login?
In the app, open Settings, then My account, and choose Delete my login. You can also ask us. See delete your account.
